PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an encoder having high resolution, an encoder assembling method, a drive device, and a robot device.SOLUTION: An encoder includes: a pattern substrate part having a pattern which indicates movement information of a measured object; a detection part which can move relatively with the pattern substrate part and which has a sensor detecting the pattern; a support part for supporting the sensor; and a mold part at which the support part is arranged and which has a positioning part for positioning the sensor. |
