PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a damping control device for a vehicle improving a problem due to a hysteresis to relate to a piston.SOLUTION: Control means 6 controls a damping device for a vehicle by a stopped state of master pistons 21 and 22 distinguished with stopped state distinction means 6. Controllability at enlarging damping force is raised by compensating for hysteresis when shifting from a state that the piston stops to a master pressure increase direction. Besides, the controllability at decreasing the damping force is raised by compensating for the hysteresis when shifting from the state that the piston stops to a master pressure decrease direction.
