PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile terminal which can control reporting in which the case the mobile terminal is left and the case the mobile terminal is picked up are distinguished, and to provide a drop reporting method for the mobile terminal.SOLUTION: The mobile terminal has: an acceleration sensor 110 which can detect drop of a mobile terminal 100; an alarm section 112 which can report the drop of the mobile terminal 100 to the outside; and a drop reporting control section 114 which controls the acceleration sensor 110 and the alarm section 112. After the acceleration sensor 110 detects the drop of the mobile terminal 100, the drop reporting control section 114 allows the alarm section 112 to report when a stationary state of the mobile terminal 100 exceeds a predetermined time and allows the alarm section 112 to regulate the report when a stationary state of the mobile terminal 100 is within a predetermined time. |
