PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a capacitor monitoring circuit capable of precisely detecting capacity leakage of a capacitor in an early stage, and an electric power unit including the same.SOLUTION: A single rectangular pulse is generated every time a DC supply voltage begins to be supplied so as to detect capacity leakage of a power supply capacitor connected to a line through which the supply voltage is supplied from outside. A comparison result signal indicating whether the voltage on the line is equal to or lower than a reference voltage is generated, and the comparison result having been received and stored in rear-edge timing of the rectangular pulse is output as a capacity leakage detection signal indicating whether there is capacity leakage. |
