PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an IC card having higher security, a portable electronic device, and an IC card control program.SOLUTION: An IC card according to one embodiment includes: a receiving unit that receives a command transmitted from an external apparatus; a command processing unit that executes command processing corresponding to the command; a message authentication code generation unit that determines a message authentication code generation target from a processing result of the command processing, and generates a message authentication code by either a first message authentication code generation processing or a second message authentication code generation processing; and a transmission unit that transmits, as a response, the processing result and message authentication code to the external apparatus. |
