DEVICE FOR GRAVITATIONAL ROPE-ASSISTANT DESCENT

A device for the gravitational rope-assistant descent contains the body frame with guide canal for the rope, the element for secure fastening of the person, and the lever-based appliance for controlled friction brake. The body frame is designed as a tube. The lever-based appliance for controlled friction brake is designed as hyperboloid torsion representing two tubular bases of the same diameter connected at a slope with the flexible straps. One end of the hyperboloid torsion is rigidly connected to the body frame while the opposite end is free and connected with the lever controlling the friction brake. The hyperboloid torsion is mounted with the tension onto the rope with its neck.
