PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve drying performance at the starting time of a drying operation when performing warm water washing in washing.SOLUTION: A washing and drying machine includes: a heat pump device 60 which connects a compressor 25, a radiator 23, squeezing means 61, a heat sink 22 by a pipe conduit 24 for a cooling medium to circulate; an air channel 19 for introducing air for drying into a drum 4; a blower 21 for blowing air to the air channel 19; heating means 30a and 30b for heating at least an upper part and a lower part of the compressor 25; warm water washing setting means 36d for setting washing by heated warm water; and control means 35 for controlling a washing operation and a drying operation. The control means 35 energizes the heating means 30a and 30b before starting a drying operation and heats the compressors 25, when warm water washing is set by the warm water washing setting means 36d. |
