The present invention provides a synchronization method and a server device for an online game whereby it is possible for the processing load on each device during online communication to be reduced, and for a process to continue in an online environment, without the need for integrated information management. The present invention is a synchronization method for an online game by which it is possible for information relating to game processes to be transmitted and received between a first client terminal and a second client terminal through a server, wherein the method has: a reception step in which first information relating to a game process in the first client terminal is received from the first client terminal while connected online; an assessment step in which it is assessed whether the first information is information for selecting a game condition; and a transmission step in which, in the event that the first information is assessed to be information for selecting a game condition, the first information is saved to the server, as well as being transmitted from the first client terminal to the second client terminal. |
