PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the fuel consumption of an idle stop vehicle by elongating a period for executing idle stop.SOLUTION: A control device for executing idle stop to stop the idling of an internal combustion engine performs control to determine whether a vehicle satisfies idle stop conditions to execute the idle stop or not (S3) when decelerated until a vehicle speed is a predetermined value (S1), and to repetitively determine whether it satisfies the idle stop conditions or not if the vehicle speed falls below the predetermined value when determining that it does not satisfy the idle stop conditions. It sets the idle stop conditions so that there is a higher possibility of executing the idle stop as the vehicle speed is lower (S4). |
