The drive (1) has separate input shafts (7, 8) placed above positive shift elements of partial gear boxes (5, 6) that are connected with a common output shaft (9). An electric machine (3) is permanently coupled with the first input shaft of the first partial gear box and a gear box body (4), and coupled with the input shafts of the second partial gear box of the gear box body. A frictional or positive clutch (10) is switched between the engine and the second gear box. A frictional clutch (11) is switched between the electric machine and the second gear box. An independent claim is also included for a method for operating a hybrid drive.
