Disclosed are a UV generator for repairing a pipe through a reverse insertion method and a method for repairing a pipe using the same to cure a photocurable liner using light by inserting the UV generator into the photocurable liner which is reversely inserted into a pipe to be repaired and irradiating UV light. The UV generator includes a device body, a UV lamp mounted on the device body, a plurality of length adjustable variable support legs which support the device body against the inner surface of the photocurable liner that is inserted into the pipe and is expanded, and a wheel installed at the end of the support legs.
