FIELD: ventilation.SUBSTANCE: device is intended to maintain qualitative air exchange in rooms, clean the incoming air and create obstacles for penetration of insects into a room. An air flow arrester and a filter element is installed between a leaf and a frame of the leaf so that it arrests the air flow and performs air filtration at opening of the window or door leaf by a value that is not higher than it is provided by sizes of the air flow arrester and the filter element. The original window or door design both in a closed and an open state by the value that is higher than it is provided by sizes of the air flow arrester and the filter element preserves all functional and consumer properties. The device is located between the leaf and the leaf frame and can be attached to any of those elements or to an additional structural element serving for attachment of support purposes. It is made from plate or three-dimensional material capable of being restored after compression; plate material is folded in the form of a corrugation, zigzag, bellows and a pipe. It can be made from solid material connected only at one point or of several angular or straight parts connected by means of any known method.
