The component has regions (B1-B3) extending in a surface of the component. The component is made of plastic-carbon fiber-composite material. Carbon fiber layers (3) are provided in one of the regions. The other regions contain layers (4), which are made of metal cords. The metal cords are arranged at a distance relative to each other in a direction. The metal cords are provided on the carbon fiber layers in one of the regions. The metal cords are composed of individual wires, which are twisted with each other.
