<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roller with a retainer increasing the load capacity by increasing the number of the rollers, and molding the resin retainer with the usage of a die having a simple structure. <P>SOLUTION: The roller with the retainer includes a plurality of the rollers 1, and the resin retainer 2 for holding the rollers 1. In the retainer 2, a pair of annular parts 3 arranged in parallel with each other in an axial direction is connected by a plurality of pillars 4 arranged in a circumferential direction, and the rollers 1 are respectively stored in pockets 5 formed between the adjacent pairs of the pillars 4.
