A pad supply apparatus for coil stack is provided to prevent safety accident of the worker when putting in a pad, to make the coil stacking work smooth, and to suppress the generation of pressed mark on the coil by the coil binding band. A pad supply apparatus for coil stack comprises an apparatus body(10) which can generate a magnetic force and is arranged close to a coil surface, driving wheels(30) which are provided on both sides of the apparatus body and move along the surface of stacked coils so that the apparatus body travels along the coils, and a roll pad(50) connected to the apparatus body. The apparatus body includes a main body(12), and an electro-magnetic plate(14) which is equipped in the main body and is magnetized when applied with electricity in order to prevent the separation of the apparatus body from the coil surface. |
