An apparatus and a method thereof for providing video commercial according to the reception type of a subscriber by using a channel changing delay time of a digital image service are provided to increase the quality of effective by reducing effective time due to disconnection phenomenon of broadcast. A video commercial apparatus for providing using a bearer channel modification delay time includes a connection unit(110), a subscriber receive type setting unit(120), a bearer channel modification sensor(130), a controller(140), an image offering part(150), a received information record(160) and a video commercial storage(170). The subscriber receive type setting unit provides the video commercial service in which the video commercial apparatus according to the subscriber advertising receive type. The controller controls the overall function of the video commercial apparatus including the video commercial reception from the video commercial providing server, and the regeneration of the video commercial according to the subscriber receive type. The image offering part buffers the channel video for providing for the subscriber. |
