The present invention relates to a system for reducing fog over a runway using an unmanned airship and a method for reducing fog over a runway using the system, wherein the system comprises: an unmanned airship flying over an airport runway; at least one visibility observation device provided inside the airport runway; and a remote control unit for remotely controlling the unmanned airship to distribute incendiary bombs in order to disperse fog over the runway, when the visibility distance observed by the visibility observation device is below a predetermined value. The system for reducing fog over a runway using an unmanned airship and the method for reducing fog over a runway using the system, according to the present invention are provided to vertically and horizontally improve visibility, which becomes unclear due to fog over the runway, by observing the direction of wind, wind speed, temperature and humidity, thereby preventing economic and human losses arising from cancellation, delay or dangers in taking off and landing of airplanes. |
