The device has a crimping tool (4) movable from a starting position into a crimping position by an eccentric drive (1). The drive is driven by a motor (6) that is provided with a controller (5), and an encoder (7) is provided for detecting a rotation of the drive. The starting and crimping positions are adjusted at the controller. The controller allows only an isolated adjustment of the crimping position. The starting position is rigidly coupled to the crimping position by a rigidly given motion-sequence of the crimping tool and adjusted together with the crimping position. |
