The component (1) has a body performing a specific function. The body includes a deformable link connecting partitions (3) and fixing feet (5). The deformable link is adapted to be deformed to permit relative displacement of the partitions and the fixing feet relative to each other under effect of an external mechanical stress to the component. The fixing feet are provided to be secured to an inner wall of a tank. An anti-displacement stop is inserted between the feet and the partitions to prevent a displacement of the partitions relative to the feet in a longitudinal direction of a motor car. The component is integrally formed by injection of thermoplastic material.
