PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress deterioration of image quality in the case of writing images read by plural reading sensors, with plural writing heads.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus comprises: plural CISs 101 arranged in a zigzag state; a reading control unit 103 for controlling reading of the images by the CISs 101, in accordance with a first parameter for synthesizing the images read by the respective CISs 101 into one image; plural LPHs 502 arranged in a zigzag state; a writing control unit 501 for controlling, in accordance with a second parameter for writing the one image by the LPHs 502, writing of the image by the LPHs 502; and a system control unit 400 for correcting the second parameter on the basis of the first parameter. When writing the images read by the CISs 101, the writing control unit 501 controls the writing of the image by the LPHs 502, in accordance with the corrected second parameter. |
