The present invention pertains to a fabric hook-and-loop fastener in which both sides join together, said hook-and-loop fastener comprising a base fabric, hook-like joining elements that exist on the top of the base fabric, and loop-like joining elements that exist on the bottom of the base fabric, wherein: a ground warp and a ground weft constituting the base fabric, and the hook-like joining elements and the loop-like joining elements are all a yarn formed from a polyester resin; and the ground weft contains core-sheath type thermally-adhesive polyester fibers. Furthermore, the hook-like joining elements and the loop-like joining elements are both fixed to the base fabric by the thermally-adhesive polyester fibers constituting the base fabric.
