The present invention relates to a composite profile for a modular box used in solar collectors for heating water for domestic or industrial use, the main advantages of which are: production by an extrusion process, the design with a cellular profile causes less energy losses in the solar collector, easy transportability owing to the reduction in weight per square meter of panel, use of recyclable composites in the composition thereof, including recycled used rubber tires, shorter solar collector mounting times, dispensing with the need to provide additional insulation on the modular box and reducing production costs.
