PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of an electromechanical conversion film that is economical because of a large amount of deposition per one deposition.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of an electromechanical conversion film for manufacturing an electromechanical conversion film on at least a part of a ground comprises the steps of: causing a ground 51 to be subjected to surface modification to have a predetermined pattern; applying a sol-gel solution including fine particles having the same constitution as that of the electromechanical conversion film and a precursor of the electromechanical conversion film, to an area of the ground not subjected to the surface modification by an ink jet method; and heating the applied sol-gel solution. The average particle diameter of the fine particles is less than 1 μm.
