PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switch capable of preventing miss orientation of the switch when installing the same.SOLUTION: The switch includes: an operation handle 31 having a square shaped operation plane; a switch main body coupled with the operation handle 31, which is turned on/off by pressing operation on the operation plane of the operation handle 31; and a plate 21 having an insertion hole 210 through which the switch main body is inserted and is closed by the operation handle 31, which has a contour of a generally square shape as viewed from the front side, and which is detachably coupled with the switch main body 1 and is fixed to the wall material. The plate 21 includes a pair of screw insertion holes through which a set screw 23 is inserted for fixing the plate 21 to the wall material, which are formed at the right and left sides interposing the insertion hole 210. By providing a caution to specify the direction of the plate 21 when installing the same so that the direction where the set screws 23 interpose the insertion hole 210 is the right and left direction, such mistake that the direction of the switch is erroneously positioned by 90° can be prevented when installing the same. |
