PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an impedance detection system which allows for constantly monitoring a battery condition, such as the state of charge (SOC) and state of health (SOH), of a lithium secondary battery, and to provide a monitoring system and a lithium secondary battery with a monitoring function based on such monitoring system.SOLUTION: Using an exterior can 3 of a battery as a reference electrode, impedance between a positive electrode (positive terminal 7) and the reference electrode and impedance between a negative electrode (negative terminal 8) and the reference electrode are detected by applying an AC signal (between the positive electrode and the negative electrode) to monitor battery conditions such as SOC, SOH, and the like. |
