The problem is to prevent the display of an image transmitted from a transmission device other than a specific portable device. In order to solve the problem, a vehicular apparatus (2) is configured to communicate with a portable device (3) and provided with: a reception means; a disruption detection means; a determination unit; and a display control means. The reception means receives image information transmitted from a specific portable device that is a portable device with which communication is established. The disruption detection means detects disruption of reception of the image information. The determination unit determines, when the image information is received again by the reception means following the detection of reception disruption, whether the transmission device that has transmitted the image information is the specific portable device. When the transmission device is determined to be not the specific portable device, the display control means stops the display of the image information transmitted from the transmission device on a display device.
