The storage and retrieval system has loading system drive arranged above load/removal bar (14) and fastened to the base device, for loading the high-bay warehouse (1) with product (5). A separation unit (16) is provided for an isolated removal of the goods from the high-bay warehouse. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) high-bay warehouse; and (2) method for occasional removal of goods from isolated high-bay warehouse.
