<p>Provided is a measuring device comprising: an optical pulse output unit that alternately outputs a first optical pulse having a first wavelength and a second optical pulse having a second wavelength, and that projects the pulses into the input end of the optical fiber core line to be tested; an optical demultiplexer for dividing, into light having the first wavelength and light having the second wavelength, backscatter that is from the optical fiber core line corresponding to each of the first optical pulse and the second optical pulse and that is from a plurality of locations at different distances from the input end; and a measuring unit that measures the optical power of the light having the first wavelength and the light having the second wavelength, respectively.</p> |
