PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary valve capable of operating a valving element while saving power.SOLUTION: A rotary valve includes: a columnar member 72; a cylindrical member 70 disposed concentrically with the columnar member 72 and having a diameter larger than that of the columnar member 72; and disc-shaped first valving elements 82, 85, 88 and second valving elements 83, 86, 89 concentrically disposed between the columnar member 72 and the cylindrical member 70, and rotatable to one side direction in a circumferential direction along an outer peripheral face 72o of the columnar member 72. One side elements of the first valving elements 82, 85, 88 and the second valving elements 83, 86, 89 are moved when a refrigerant R flows into a hollow space 92. By this movement, the refrigerant R is discharged from a hollow space 94 formed on a position axially different from the hollow space 92. |
