Provided is a network node capable of achieving both no excessive increase in the communications load of a network and, as far as possible, no failure of data to reach a target node that is the distribution destination. The network node comprises: a non-structural distribution means for distributing data in accordance with non-structural distribution in a network capable of non-structural distribution; a structural distribution means for distributing data in accordance with structural distribution using a link for structural distribution built in the network; and a selection means that uses a prescribed evaluation method and selects either the structural distribution means or the non-structural distribution means as a broadcast distribution means. The network node uses the structural distribution means or the non-structural distribution means that has been selected as the broadcast distribution means by the selection means, and distributes data in the network.
