The present invention relates to a recovery apparatus and a method for recovering valuable metal, capable of separating valuable metal from waste solution by adsorbing the valuable metal present in the waste solution, including: an adsorbing instrument, capable of selectively adsorbing valuable metal present in the waste solution; a valuable metal recovery unit, surrounding the adsorbing instrument, prepared with an incineration instrument capable of incinerating valuable metal, adsorbed to the adsorbing instrument, into a reduced form; and a rapid heating unit prepared with a rapid heating instrument built with hot wires so as to guide a high-temperature heat wave using the adsorbing instrument, and desiccate the adsorbing instrument by the heat wave.
