PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a building with a ventilation tower which allows the building to enhance ventilation during summer and to let in natural light and to circulate air inside the building during winter.SOLUTION: The building 2 comprises: a ventilation tower 1 which is upwardly extended from a deck roof 3 and has a transparent window 11 installed on a side wall face 40 so as to be openable and closable; a fan 10 which is installed inside the ventilation tower 1 and can be switched between an upward wind direction and a downward wind direction; and a plurality of reflection plates 12 which reflect sunlight entering through the window 11, with an incidence angle not more than a predetermined angle, to a habitable room 4 below the ventilation tower 1. The plurality of the reflection plates 12 are arranged in a vertical direction between the side wall face 40 of the ventilation tower 1 where the window 11 is installed and the fan 10. The plurality of reflection plates 12 are installed with gaps A and B, as air passages, respectively from the side wall face 40 and from a ceiling face 41 of the ventilation tower 1. |
