A fabric for sacks is woven from warp and weft of flat monofils of polypropylene, nylon, polyester, polyacrylonitrile, or polythene. The crossing points are sintered together by heating between hot rollers, or by hot air or infrared heaters. The monofils may be slit from a sheet which has been monoaxially oriented by stretching. |
