PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microcomputer which neither needs to add an address determination code to an operation program nor erroneously corrupts a boot code of a memory even when the number of bytes specifying an address is different from that of the memory.SOLUTION: An I/F circuit 3 transmits a control instruction including a command and an address for reading a boot code, to a memory; and a CPU 2 obtains data for transmission on the basis of the control instruction received by the memory, and performs execution. If the received data is not a correct boot code, the I/F circuit 3 transmits the transmitted control instruction and a control instruction that has a different command and/or address length. |
