PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical coupling part capable of increasing safety by reducing the amount of leaking light such as a laser beam to the outside of a connector when the connector is not coupled.SOLUTION: An optical coupling part structure comprises a first optical plug 1 including a first optical fiber 4 and a second optical plug 2 including a second optical fiber 7, and the first optical plug 1 and the second optical plug 2 are attachably/detachably coupled. The first optical plug 1 includes a first opening 12 for being engaged with the second optical plug 2. The optical coupling part structure includes moving means 13 which, in a non-coupled state where the first optical plug 1 and the second optical plug 2 are not coupled, holds at a non-coupling position where a first optical axis O1, which is an optical axis of the first optical fiber 4, does not pass the first opening 12, and in a coupled state where the first optical plug 1 and the second optical plug 2 are coupled, moves the first optical fiber 4 so that the first optical axis O1 comes to a coaxial position where it matches a second optical axis O2, which is an optical axis of the second optical fiber 7. |
