The present invention relates to a refrigerator that improves the strength for supporting an accommodating container having a drawing structure and conducts a gentle drawing operation for an even large-sized accommodating container. According to the present invention, the refrigerator includes a storage room (3) formed in a body (1), doors (2a, 2b) opening and closing the storage room (3), an accommodating container (50) located at the storage room (3), a base (60) supporting the accommodating container (50) thereagainst, a handle (51) disposed at the front of the base (60), rails (70) disposed on the inner surface of the storage room (3), moving bodies (67a, 67) disposed on the rear side of the base (60) in such a manner as to move on the rails (70), and first support bodies (71) disposed on the lower front side of the storage room (3) in such a manner as to movably support the base (60) forwardly and backwardly, wherein the height positions of the sliding parts of the first support bodies (71), the rails (70) and the moving bodies (67a, 67) and the height position of at least portion of the handle (51) are similar to or equal to the height position of the underside of the base (6).
