PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a first engagement member to easily engage with a second engagement member even if a movable part is stopped in the middle of a path and then is moved toward the first engagement member.SOLUTION: A seat device includes: a first engagement member provided in a compartment of a vehicle; a bottom seat which is provided in the compartment of the vehicle so as to move close to or separate from the first engagement member; a second engagement member which is provided at the bottom seat and may engage with the first engagement member; a motor 16 which drives the bottom seat so that the bottom seat moves close to or separate from the first engagement member; and a control part 20 which controls the motor 16. The control part 20 executes first processing, in which the motor 16 is operated so that the bottom seat is separated from the first engagement member, and further executes second processing, in which the motor 16 is operated so that the bottom seat moves close to the first engagement member, after the first processing. |
