PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device of an in-cylinder injection type internal combustion engine enabling improvement in exhaust gas property and further improvement in fuel consumption.SOLUTION: A control device of an in-cylinder injection type internal combustion engine includes a fuel injection valve having a mechanism capable of changing a spray shape, and in intake stroke injection, controls the fuel injection valve so as to form spray whose penetration force is small and whose extensity is narrow-angle when a piston position at fuel injection is at a predetermined position, and so as to form spray whose penetration force is large and whose extensity is wide-angle when a piston position is far away from the predetermined position with respect to a piston upper dead point. |
