PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid droplet discharge device and a liquid droplet discharge method which can discharge a liquid droplet with high precision by using photocurable liquid material.SOLUTION: A liquid droplet discharge device includes a light emitting part 22 which is arranged on an opposite surface side to a drawing region of a work W mounted on a stage 20 and emits light for curing liquid material to the entire drawing region. A liquid droplet discharge head retracts from the region after providing the liquid material L on at least a part of the drawing region. The light emitting part 22 does not emit light to the region when the liquid droplet discharge head exists on the region, and emits light to the region when the liquid droplet discharge head retracts from the region. |
