PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively prevent extension of time required to complete a job due to change of an operation mode after the start of reading of a document.SOLUTION: An MFP 1 receives a mode change instruction that an operation mode is to be changed after reading of a document is started (S102 to S105), determines whether re-reading of the document is necessary to complete a job according to the mode change instruction (S106), starts re-reading of the document when determining that re-reading is necessary (S116), and continues reading of the document when determining that re-reading is not necessary. |
