The lighting apparatus (10) has a light source (1) and an optical element (5) which has a light output surface (7) and two components (5-1,5-2), where the former component of the optical element is made from a light-permeable material. The latter component of the optical element is impermeable for the light entering in the latter component and emitted from the light source, if the light path in the latter component exceeds a border light path.
