<p>The device (10) comprises a disc (12), carrying a mobile point (P) moving in rotation about an axis (Z). A first sensor (14) cooperates with a first magnetic element (16) fixed to the disc (12) so as to measure an approximate angular position (θa) of the point (P) with respect to an origin (O). Second magnetic elements (22) are arranged circumferentially on the periphery of the disc (12). A second sensor (18) is disposed at the origin (O) so as to measure, for a second magnetic element (22) situated opposite this second sensor (18), the angular position of an upstream end (22A) of this second magnetic element (22) with respect to the origin (O). Means (26) determine which second element (22) is situated opposite the second sensor (18), as a function of the approximate angular position (θa). Means (30) calculate a precise angular position (θ) of the reference point (P) as a function of the second element (22) determined and of the value measured by the second sensor (18).</p> |
