PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel addition structure capable of further promoting the evaporation and dispersion of added fuel from a fuel addition valve than a conventional one, thus actualizing fuel addition using the fuel addition valve even in a light load operation region.SOLUTION: The fuel addition structure includes a fuel addition valve 9 mounted in an exhaust connector 7 connecting the exit of a turbine 2b of a turbocharger 2 to an exhaust pipe 8 so that fuel F can be injected into exhaust gas 5 at its diagonally downstream side to the flowing direction, and a reflector 10 arranged in the exhaust connector 7 for causing the injected fuel F from the fuel addition valve 9 to collide therewith and splash back to the upstream side. |
