The purpose of the present invention is to provide a head rest with improved rigidity of link support parts. This head rest (1) is provided with a first and second head rest pillar (2a, 2b), a fixed member (4) which is provided between the first and second head rest pillars (2a, 2b), a movable member (5) which can move in the direction forwards away from or backwards returning towards the fixed member (4), and a link mechanism which links the fixed member (4) and the movable member (5). Further, the fixed member (4) and the movable member (5) each has multiple support parts (21, 22, 31, 32) by which the links making up the link mechanism are rotatably connected and supported. The link parts (21, 22, 31, 32) are formed to be wide, longer in the horizontal width direction greater than in the front-back thickness direction. |
