PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide diagnosis/prognosis methods of preneoplastic/neoplastic diseases, as well as probes, primers and antibodies useful for the methods, for the purpose of distinguishing between AS and FL MN/CA9 expression.SOLUTION: Probes or primers are characterized in comprising nucleic acids which bind to splice junction of exon 7 and 10 of MN/CA9 gene. The probes or primers are used for distinguishing between expression of alternatively-spliced cleaved [AS]MN/CA9 mRNA and expression of full-length [FL]MN/CA9 mRNA in human patients, and are used to detect AS MN/CA9 mRNA without detecting FL MN/CA9 mRNA. |
