<p>The present invention relates to a sampling unit (1) adapted for collecting a gaseous sample from a slurry. The relationship between a first height (h) defining a volume (2A) of a slurry, located vertically below an interface (2B) between said slurry volume (2A) and said sampling unit (1), said volume (2A) being delimited by the vertical extension of said interface (2B) and a first cross-sectional area (a) of said interface (2B), and a second height (H) defining a volume (3A) of a slurry located within a reactor (4) and a second cross-sectional area (A) of an interface (3B) between the slurry and head space (12) holding a gaseous phase in said reactor (4), is such that a ratio h/a is larger than a ratio H/A. The invention also relates to a sampling system comprising the sampling unit(1) and use of the same.</p> |
