<p>The present invention relates to an apparatus to relay touch information, which is capable of efficiently delivering touch data to a personal computer (PC) and a smart device by wire and wirelessly, and a method therefor. The apparatus includes: a touch information repeater to extract only the touch data from the touch information outputted from a touch information providing unit generating touch information in response to a touch operation of a user, converting the extracted touch data into data recognizable by a connected smart device, and relaying the touch information to the smart device. Thus, the apparatus can transmit touch information to a smart device of a client through the touch information repeater by wire and wireless methods even though the touch information providing unit has no wireless type communication module, and can receive and process touch information transmitted from the touch information providing unit by the touch information repeater even in a smart device having no touch information algorithm produced by a manufacturer of a touch sensor identical to the touch information providing unit.
