The method involves determining data individualizing print material bundles e.g. paper rolls, due to actuation of a barcode scanner (46) and an input interface (47) of an operator interface (34) in the context of feeding a roll exchanger for print material supply with the print material bundles. The interface is associated to the assembly. The data is transmitted to a database system (17). An entry related to a status and/or habitation, is changed due to transmission of the data into a bundle dataset of the database system, where the dataset relates to the self individualized data. An independent claim is also included for a device for handling print material bundles in a print material supply system of a printing machine. |
