[Classes 52 (i) and 52 (iv)] [Also in Group XXV] Relates to securing cupboards, cabinets, gas heating appliances &c. to walls by means of hooks,. screws, bolts previously fixed in the wall and passing through slots in the back of the article and consists in means for varying the effective length of the slots to compensate for inaccuracy in the location of the bolts &c. In one form a wedge 12, Fig. 1, is adjustably secured to the back by brackets 14 and nuts 15 and engages the hook &c. 11, and in a modification the wedge is replaced by an eccentrically pivoted disc 18, Fig. 6. This may engage the hook directly or through a washer-like member 20 sliding in guides 21 secured to the back. The wedge 12 and disc 18 may have a serrated operative surface. Additional adjustment may be obtained by mounting an eccentric washer on the hook or bolt.
