The present invention provides a media scene playing system, a method thereof, and a recording medium thereof. The system includes a media providing module, an input module, and a media searching module. The media providing module provides media data and corresponding scene description information. The input module is used for inputting navigation data. The media searching module searches a scene period which coincides with the navigation data by comparing the navigation data with the obtained scene description information. As a result, the media searching module plays scene section media by searching the scene section media corresponding to the scene period from the media data.
